Founder, Center for Integrative Healing

Isaac Brach is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, trauma specialist, and founder of the Center for Integrative Healing. He earned his BA in Psychology from Touro College and his MS in Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University.

He is certified in Brainspotting (David Grand) and Hypnotherapy (National Guild of Hypnotists), and has advanced training in both evidence-based therapies such as EMDR and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and specialized trauma-focused approaches including Internal Family Systems (IFS, Richard Schwartz), Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment (TIST, Janina Fisher),** and Transforming the Experience-Based Brain (TEB, Steven Terrell). He has also completed advanced couples training with Chloé Madanes (Strategic Interventions) and additional training in relational dynamics and intimacy. His clinical experience includes work in outpatient addiction treatment, supporting individuals in recovery from substance use.

His work centers on trauma recovery—supporting couples in repairing their marriages and individuals in overcoming addictions through a trauma-informed approach. He also treats anxiety, depression, OCD, and major life transitions, seeing adults in both individual and couples therapy formats

Alongside psychotherapy, Isaac draws on decades of training in Eastern practices and philosophies, integrating movement, breathwork, and resilience into his therapeutic work. From this integration he developed Cognitive Combat Therapy (CCT), his original method that uses martial principles and somatic awareness as both metaphor and method for trauma healing, nervous system regulation, and the restoration of strength.

His perspective is also shaped by decades of Torah and Chassidic study, which inform his ongoing work on a forthcoming book that integrates psychology and Torah as a blueprint for emotional healing and human growth. This synthesis of clinical expertise, embodied practice, and spiritual wisdom makes his work uniquely holistic.

Before becoming a therapist, Isaac spent nearly thirty years in construction and real estate, an experience that grounds his clinical work in practicality and resilience. He resides in Brooklyn with his wife, where they raised ten children and are blessed with many grandchildren. This combination of professional training, spiritual study, and lived family life informs his ability to connect with clients in a way that is both empathetic and deeply real.
